J. B. Joo, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.S.C.R.S.

Dr. Joo is Board Certfied in both General and Colon & Rectal Surgery and was the first Board Certified Colon & Rectal Surgeon at Rush-Copley Hospital. He graduated from Loyola University Medical School and completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Illinois- Peoria. Dr. Joo completed an additional Colon and Rectal Fellowship at Cook County and the University of Illinois- Chicago.

Dr. Joo serves on several committees at both Edward and Rush-Copley Hospitals. He has published several articles and a book chapter. He has an active interest in all aspects of abdominal surgery including endoscopy, benign anorectal disease, and colon and rectal cancer.

Dr.Joo resides in Naperville.
